MYTPI PRO

As Director of Body Balance for Performance of Atlanta my mission is to ensure our center provides superior service, training, and education to help our clients feel better and play better golf. A brief description of my background should help show how strong of a passion I have for this mission.

I am a certified Golf Performance Specialist by Body Balance for Performance and a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor by Titleist Performance Institute. I have spent my entire life entrenched in sports, fitness, health, wellness, and nutrition. Most notably, I have spent the past 25+ years dedicated to golf, hockey, and fitness as a player, instructor, and staff member. A key reason I chose to open Body Balance for Performance of Atlanta is to help people improve their health while contributing to their success on the golf course. I am very passionate about fitness, wellness, nutrition and golf and hope I can instill the same passion in our clients.

The old saying “If I only knew then what I know now” crosses my mind on a regular basis. I trained (weights, cardio, plyometrics, etc.) very hard while playing competitive golf and hockey as a youth and young adult. Unfortunately my hockey career ended prematurely due to a severe shoulder separation that damaged all the ligaments and tendons in my right shoulder. As I’ve gotten older (and hopefully wiser) I’ve spent a significant amount of time training, reading, studying, and listening to world leaders in regards to golf, fitness, health, and nutrition. I’ve realized that I would have been a superior athlete in comparison to what I was, and I most likely would have never had the shoulder injury that ended my hockey career prematurely “If I only knew then what I know now”. I also believe that it is crucial to work smarter not just harder!

Too many golfers train inappropriately which can lead to frustration with their game, pain, or even injury. Between our manual therapy techniques and golf-specific exercises we can help you improve your stability, mobility, flexibility, range of motion, strength, power, and speed leading to a more enjoyable and better golf game!
